NASA's Space Launch System rocket, topped with the Orion spacecraft, lifted off from Launch Complex 39B at Kennedy Space Center in November 2022 on the uncrewed Artemis I mission.
In slow motion, the pad disappears into towering exhaust clouds as the night sky turns a glowing orange.
The Artemis program is preparing the way for crewed missions to the Moon.
